The Three Main Types of Essay TopicsWhen you are working on your claim of value essay, the first thing that you need to do is to determine your topic. There are three general types of topics that can be used as your topic; they are:General topic: The general topic can be an almost every day, and pretty boring topic. This is a good topic to use when it is the easiest for you to get a good feel for what the essay will look like once it is written. This type of topic can also be used as your main topic.The second type of topic is one that has been created by someone else. For example, if you were going to write a letter to the editor about a product, you could simply take this idea and make it your own. For example, if you wrote a letter to the editor about a particular car, then you could simply modify the content to suit the automobile industry. In this case, you can use the first two categories as a base, but choose the third category because it is generally a well-known topic.Exampl e topic: If you are a writer, then this topic will be your most useful. You will want to use this to demonstrate your writing skill. Some examples of this would be something like the difference between taxidermy and science fiction. Of course, you can always go back to the general topic to change it and make it your own.Example use. In this case, you will want to use this as your basis for building a story. This can include something as simple as describing your first day at work. However, you will have to alter the topic slightly in order to fit the rest of the essay.You may be wondering why I made it sound like the first two categories are the only two that you can use as a general topic. This is true, but it is still better to make sure that you have your foundation on what you want to discuss before you use it as your base. For example, if you wanted to use science fiction as your topic, you should not write the science fiction part without having a proper base to write from. Ot herwise, your topic will look weird.The last type of topic is one that is considered to be one of the most important when it comes to writing an essay on any subject. This is called the thesis statement. The thesis statement is what sets the overall scope of the essay and most often, is what will contain the bulk of the essay.

They only tested how a student had the discipline to retain information. I knew I was making excuses to avoid working in sc hool. Instead, I took a less conservative point of view on school, and searched for motivation to help push myself to be someone who has more to offer to the world. Motivation and drive help push people to do incredible things. Striving to be like my brother wasn’t motivation to push myself to work hard. I learned that I wasn’t going to be successful if I kept comparing myself to his blinding success. I resorted to looking for an interest that I truly had passion for. I set my attention on DECA, a business organization that built a business acumen. I decided to start taking competition seriously. The stock market competition caught my eye because it was a competition where students could invest in stocks, which were synched with the live stock market. Competing sparked my interest in investments. I learned about how the market worked, types of investments, how to analyze stocks, and the different applications of finance. Once the competition began to level off, I was t op 10 in the world. This was the first successful extracurricular activity I had been a part of that didn’t involve my family. It was a phenomenal feeling. Finance then became my passion, and I began to picture myself in this profession. With a new take on school, I worked for myself. Thai and American Food In the past few years, I have traveled to many countries and got to experience many types of foods. One of those countries which was very interesting was America. There are several obvious differences between Thai and American food. The first difference is the difference of flavor. Thais foods are very flavorful; there are a variety of tastes. For example, one bowl of curry is probably filled up with sour-tasting lime or tamarind, salt from fish sauce and a sweet taste from cane sugar. Most dishes usually contain a lot of spices and herbs but Americans foods are different; most of them are pretty bland and salty. The second difference is size of serving, in America you will get large sized food portions when you order food, sometimes I have to split in two and share with others. In contrast, in Thailand the food portions are smaller and people usually order multiple dishes in each meal.
